Job summary

Safran Cabin in Santa Maria, CA is seeking a Planner to oversee all planning activities, producing schedules, material lists, and production plans to assure on-time delivery of our aerospace interiors products.

Responsibilities include managing MRP/ERP processes, BOM validation, and coordinating with purchasing, production, and engineering. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in production or material planning are required; IFR/AS9100 awareness is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience working in an ERP/MRP environment required.
• Experience with production planning and/or material planning.
• Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001.
• MS Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with an MRP system.
• Knowledge of materials planning system (MRP/ERP) requirements, PO and MFG order generation process logic, and inventory management practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule workflow for each workstation based on manufacturing sequence.
• Control material requirements per BOM, sequence, and production flow.
• Expedite operations to meet schedules under unforeseen conditions.
• Prepare production and productivity reports to drive process improvements.
• Review engineering drawings and validate BOM and material quantities.
