Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in San Jose, CA is seeking a Production Planner II to manage master schedules, balance supply and demand, and lead material planning and shipment activities. The role reports to Materials Mgmt Manager and requires on-site work for the first 90 days with hybrid work thereafter.

Responsibilities include MRP-driven planning, procurement support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of MRP experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with SAP or Oracle for planning and scheduling.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; able to present data clearly.
• Knowledge of material planning, shipping/receiving and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill demand by examining MRP signals and item availability.
• Communicate material availability to procurement and release orders.
• Maintain configuration and serial control of hardware.
• Prepare pick lists, packing slips and shipping documents.
• Flag production issues and coordinate with teams to resolve.
• Request Customer Source Inspection for hardware shipments.
• Ensure planning data in SAP aligns with program plans.
• Support programs by collaborating with program managers.
• Participate in team meetings and safety training.
