The Supply Chain Planner will be a key member of the Global Supply Chain Planning team, responsible for planning activities for assigned ASP product codes, supporting regional Sales and Operations processes, and managing inventory. The primary focus will be products manufactured at the Irvine site, but the role also involves handling suppliers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Support regional Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) with marketing, sales, and finance to align market and financial requirements with manufacturing capabilities.
• Maintain and ensure integrity of reorder point parameters in the E2E ASP network.
• Define and implement strategies to improve key business metrics, including E&O, inventory at risk, and backlog.
• Monitor key metrics such as customer service levels, inventory metrics, SLOB inventory, QA Cage, Scrap, back order value, and on-time S&OP execution, collaborating with supply chain partners.
• Align with global, regional, and country partners on S&OP processes.
• Participate in New Product Introduction and Portfolio optimization, including scenario analysis and contingency planning.
• Manage safety stock levels, inventory tracking, reconciliation, and identify inventory reduction opportunities.
• Support allocation policies and analyze exceptions.
• Handle interplant STO releases between hubs and distribution centers.
• Communicate root causes of supply issues, corrective actions, and recovery timelines.
• Assist marketing and sales in customer allocation decisions based on demand and supply analysis.
• Propose and manage process and system improvements, including change management.
• Report business issues and opportunities to management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
• Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, Logistics, or Operations.
• 2-5 years of experience in supply chain or operations.
• Experience in planning, purchasing, or materials management preferred.
• Strong understanding of planning systems and supply chain processes.
• Analytical, quantitative, and project management skills.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• High initiative and ability to work independently.
