Job summary

Hydro North America is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to optimize material and product flow across the supply chain in Saint Augustine, FL. You will help meet customer demand while controlling costs and maintaining inventory levels, working with production, procurement, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.

• 3 years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Manufacturing experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field desirable.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/MRP/ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan conduit locations using SAPEX stocking tools.
• Schedule production work centers to achieve stocking goals and maintain a COTD above 95%.
• Identify capacity constraints and collaborate with the manufacturing team to resolve issues.
• Attend daily conduit production meetings and weekly agent status meetings.
• Set daily and monthly production targets for each work center.
• Publish a daily scorecard for the conduit product line.
• Coordinate with subcontractors involved in the conduit product line and manage receiving tasks for these vendors.
• Review conduit customer orders, determining shipping points and delivery dates.
• Monitor inventory levels at all conduit stock locations and provide a shipping schedule for St. Augustine and Magnolia.
• Learn Master Data functions in SAPEX, including creating new parts and processing Engineering Change Requests.
• Maintain positive professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• Reconcile agent warehouse inventories as needed.
• Assist with annual physical inventories at the plant or other locations as directed.
• Perform additional duties as needed

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Planner will enhance the efficiency of material and product flow throughout the supply chain. What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience:

• 3 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Manufacturing experience is required, while materials experience is preferred.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant course is desirable.
• Significant experience with MRP/ERP systems, especially SAP, is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and a solid grasp of supply chain concepts.
• Strong analytical skills are essential.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, policies, and procedure manuals.
• Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence effectively.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently while exhibiting strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capable of effectively presenting information to groups of customers or employees.
