Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer II to develop engineering analyses directing continuous improvement across warehousing, transload, cross-dock, and transportation operations. The role emphasizes proactive communication with customers and NFI management, combining technical skills with teamwork.

The position requires foundational experience in engineering within supply chain contexts, with a focus on data-driven decision making and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications

• BS degree required; BS Industrial Engineering preferred.
• 1–3+ years in engineering design, supply chain, or related fields.
• Experience with financial and project management for 3PL.
• Working knowledge of warehousing and transportation operations.
• Lean Six Sigma at project level; experience using Lean tools and principles.
• Data skills: SQL/Access/Alteryx and ability to manipulate large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the completion of engineering projects and analyses using engineering methods/tools.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements.
• Establish and monitor KPIs; perform data analytics.
• Drive continuous improvement with operations and customers.
• Provide engineering design and supply chain strategy recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations managers to implement efficient solutions.
