Qualifikationen

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ year in administrative experience preferred.
• 1+ year in relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GM's MRO/MRP system (MGO) intermediate level preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation management is preferred.
• Knowledge of material flow related to manufacturing processes is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Track and follow up on purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery.
• Serve as main point of contact for suppliers and coordinate ship schedules.
• Develop containment plans to avoid interruptions in production.
• Coordinate alternative material sources and spot buys when needed.
• Monitor and adjust inventories to maintain coverage at lowest cost.
• Review part buffers and manage exceptions in assembly plants.
