Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Flint, MI is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Associate to support the General Motors LLP account and ensure on-time delivery. This salaried role operates Monday–Friday, 5:30 p.m.–2:00 a.m., with a weekend rotation schedule.

You will coordinate suppliers, manage inventory, and implement containment plans to avoid production delays, while fostering strong supplier relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One (1) year or more administrative experience preferred.
• Five (5) years or more relevant experience strongly recommended.

Mansioni

• Follow up all purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery.
• Serve as main contact for all suppliers regarding ship schedules and containment.
• Track critical parts and develop containment plans to avoid production downtime.
• Coordinate alternative sources of material and spot buys as needed.
• Monitor, set up, and cancel truck loads to support schedule variations.
• Review part buffers to ensure coverage for build requirements.
• Document and manage code exceptions and perform root-cause analysis.
• Maintain inventory levels in system and process adjustments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
