Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Lake Orion, MI is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Associate to support a site with cross-functional teamwork and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires effective communication, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to train and mentor hourly staff. Compensation is $48,000 to $50,000 per year with benefits and PTO, with Monday–Friday hours and potential shift move to a 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• 1+ year in logistics, warehouse or related field.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• WMS knowledge preferred.
• MHE experience required.
• OSHA knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily/shift goals of facility and work group(s).
• Assist with and train hourly staff.
• Lead and train employees with policies and processes.
• Make decisions on location activities including demand planning and customer interactions.
• Support system and process training and perform operational administrative functions.
• Identify and solve operational issues with continuous improvement.
