Qualifications

• Two years of college education or experience equivalency.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience, or 2 years managerial experience.
• Experience in supervisory role in Transportation, Warehouse, retail and/or production setting.
• Work a minimum of two closing shifts per week and alternate weekends.
• Must have working phone that allows for communication accessibility.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Leading and Developing Talent: input on pay, performance appraisals, schedules, day-to-day personnel issues, discipline and hiring.
• Project and Change Management: participate in formal projects, implement changes, communicate with supervisor.
• Problem Solving: oversee staff, solve operational problems, escalate as needed.
• Technical Skill: understand the field deeply and supervise others.
• Community Engagement: participate in Goodwill's community initiatives and partnerships.
• Implement and maintain established methods to meet customer product needs timely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance of operating procedures, asset protection, safety and quality standards.
• Manage workflow, schedules and facility layout to ensure continuous flow of goods.
• Maintain quality control, address problems, drive process improvements.
• Protect and manage high value assets including transportation fleet and equipment.
• Assist with interviews and train staff to maximize productivity.
• Contribute data for monthly reports analyzing trends and costs.
• Adjust plans to meet evolving business needs and forecast loads.
