Job summary

ADVATIX - Advanced Supply Chain and Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the production floor and coordinate daily warehouse activities in Romeoville, IL. The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires proven leadership in warehousing, knowledge of procedures, and the ability to develop staff.

The ideal candidate will oversee labor planning, ensure safety and quality compliance, and collaborate with support teams to meet service deliverables for clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of warehouse experience with receiving, shipping, fulfillment, and inventory control.
• Previous leadership experience preferred, including coaching and developing employees.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Experience with standard warehousing procedures and policies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and organize the workspace.

Responsibilities

• Determine appropriate production methods and labor levels to meet service deliverables.
• Supervise all operations personnel to ensure productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Plan daily activities with the operations manager and support teams.
• Ensure employees understand their duties before each shift.
• Review production schedules to prioritize workforce and meet client expectations.
• Set up operating lines at shift start for efficient labor use.
• Supervise shift employees to maintain safety and performance standards.
• Hire and train new employees on your shift per safety and performance guidelines.
• Uphold corporate quality standards, policies, and work instructions.
