Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers offers a paid internship opportunity for students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, or related fields. The program runs May to August, for 12 weeks, with mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities across the organization.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in wholesale grocery operations, assist in daily tasks, prepare materials, and present their learnings at the end of the internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with good academic standing.
• Preferred minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Majors include Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations or related fields.
• Proficiency with MS 365 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department.
• Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
• Attend meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas and insights.
• Gain exposure to department functions and tools used.
• Develop positive professional relationships across departments.
• Complete special projects as assigned by your manager.
• Deliver an end-of-internship presentation to showcase learning.

• Gain exposure and knowledge on department functionalities
• Develop positive professional relationships across departments
• Complete special projects as assigned by your manager
• Complete an end-of-internship presentation to showcase the completion of learning objectives
• Collaborate with warehouse leadership and cross-functional partners on projects designed to improve productivity, streamline operations, and increase capacity
• Work with a variety of business partners including Warehouse and Corporate Leadership

We’re searching for interns that are:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university
• In good academic standing, with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0
• Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing at the time of the internship
• Currently majoring in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations or similar programs
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 suite of products preferred
• Effective communicators, both verbally and in writing
• Able to think outside of the box and solve problems
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Curious, and bring initiative and willingness to learn and contribute
