Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC invites motivated students for a 12-week paid internship in Keene, NH. You’ll work across Finance and Accounting areas, gaining hands-on experience with Hyperion, Excel, and SmartView, while collaborating with partners in transportation, IT, procurement, and HR.

The program runs May to August and includes mentor support and professional development. Ideal candidates are undergraduates or graduates pursuing Accounting or Finance degrees, in good academic standing,

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum GPA preferred; 3.0 or higher.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Workspace; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support areas including Inventory Controls, General Accounting, Gross Profits, Corporate Finance, and Tax.
• Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks in the assigned department.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and other documentation.
• Collaborate to improve processes and efficiency; attend meetings and take notes.

Position Overview

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Opportunities to support areas including Inventory Controls, General Accounting, Gross Profits, Corporate Finance, Commercial Finance, Tax, Shared Services, and Corporate Development.
• Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department.
• Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
• Attend meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas and insights.
• Aid in further enhancing department tools, templates and methodologies
• Gain exposure and knowledge on department functionalities
• Develop positive professional relationships across departments
• Complete special projects as assigned by your manager
• Complete an end-of-internship presentation to showcase the completion of learning objectives
• Utilize and receive training on current technologies used including Hyperion, Excel, and Smartview
• Work with a variety of business partners including transportation, IT, procurement, HR etc. that interact with your designated area of Finance
• Gain vital experience in professional development within a corporate setting

We're searching for interns that are:

• Are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program from an accredited college or university
• In good academic standing, with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0
• Sophmore, Junior or Senior standing at the time of the internship
• Currently majoring in Accounting or Finance related programs
• Proficient with Google's suite of products preferred
• Have a proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Able to think outside of the box and solve problems
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Bring curiosity, initiative and willingness to learn and contribute
