Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is offering a hands-on internship designed to provide real-world insight into the wholesale grocery industry. You will support daily operations, help prepare presentations and reports, and work with cross‑functional teams to improve processes.

You will be assigned a mentor, participate in development opportunities, and present your learnings at the end of the internship. The 12-week program runs May through August and pays $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing during the internship.
• Majors in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations or similar programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 preferred.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Curiosity, initiative and willingness to learn and contribute.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department.
• Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
• Attend meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas and insights.
• Aid in enhancing department tools, templates and methodologies.
• Gain exposure to department functionalities and cross‑functional partnerships.
• Develop positive professional relationships across departments.
• Complete special projects as assigned by your manager.
• Deliver an end‑of‑internship presentation to showcase learning objectives.

• Work with a variety of business partners including Warehouse and Corporate Leadership

We’re searching for interns that are:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university
• In good academic standing, with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0
• Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing at the time of the internship
• Currently majoring in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations or similar programs
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 suite of products preferred
• Effective communicators, both verbally and in writing
• Able to think outside of the box and solve problems
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Are organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Curious, and bring initiative and willingness to learn and contribute
