Job summary

Donaldson Company seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager for its Greeneville, TN plant to lead production planning and materials operations on site. You will manage a cross-functional team, ensure material availability, optimize inventory, and drive improvements to meet growth goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's in supply chain (or related field), 5+ years in manufacturing/production control, and prior people-management experience, with strong ERP/Excel/BI skills and a Kaizen/Lean mindset.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
5+ years of professional level manufacturing/production control experience.
Prior people-management experience.

Responsibilities

Develops and manages the overall production planning activities for the plant maximizing customer service, delivery, production utilization, material control, inventory control and purchasing.
Manages inventory levels including establishing goals, rotating stock, managing purchasing and supply base and developing methods and procedures.
Develops long range planning initiatives for production control group, which includes continuously evaluating the plant’s needs capacities, capital, and expenses, to meet growth goals.
Establishes effective communication with internal departments to ensure on time delivery of product and team support.
Minimizes interruptions to production schedules through effective parts and materials procurement practices.
Assists in planning the operating budget.
Manages team of buyers, planners, shipping and receiving team members for 2 facilities at the Greeneville site.
Lead the plants S&OE processes to align demand, supply, and scheduling to meet customer demands.
