What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute the company’s supply-chain strategy
- Improve inventory controls, material flow, and record accuracy
- Lead scheduling for complex manufacturing operations
- Manage purchasing, supplier relationships, shortages, contracts, and material availability
- Establish performance metrics and analyze operational and financial data
- Create and maintain SOPs and business-management processes
- Coach, develop, and evaluate supply-chain team members
Ideal Background-Partial List
- Five or more years of relevant supply-chain experience
- Strong ERP/MRP implementation or optimization experience
- Manufacturing scheduling and multi-location purchasing experience
- Aerospace, defense, military, or government-contract manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong analytical, financial, negotiation, and leadership skills
