Job summary

TriVista Recruitment is seeking an experienced operations-focused supply chain leader for a predominantly onsite role in the Greater Dayton, Ohio area. The role emphasizes production planning, master scheduling, and production-control in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.

You will own ERP-driven planning, drive schedule execution, and lead a team to improve WIP, inventory accuracy, and delivery performance while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Finance to meet customer

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive supply chain, planning, production-control, procurement, or materials-management experience.
• Leadership experience within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of master scheduling, MRP, capacity planning, WIP control, and schedule recovery.
• Experience managing outside processors, suppliers, material availability, and cost.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, and configuration-control requirements.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.

• Lead planning, scheduling, production control, procurement, and shipping.
• Own ERP-driven production planning, master data, job releases, and planning parameters.
• Improve schedule communication and execution across the shop floor.
• Strengthen WIP management, inventory accuracy, material traceability, and outside-processing controls.
• Establish metrics for schedule adherence, on-time delivery, shortages, inventory, and supplier performance.
• Develop the existing team and help determine future organizational needs.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Finance to support customer commitments and growth.

Job description

• Location: Greater Dayton, Ohio area — primarily onsite
• Reports to: Vice President of Operations
• Travel: Minimal—generally less than 5%

This Role Is for You If

• You are an operations-focused supply chain leader with strong production planning, master scheduling, and production-control experience.
• You have worked in precision machining, metal fabrication, aerospace, defense, automotive machining, or a similar low-volume, high-mix environment.
• You know how to translate customer demand, capacity, material availability, and WIP into an executable production schedule.
• You have strong ERP/MRP experience; Infor SyteLine experience is preferred.
• You enjoy building structure, developing teams, establishing metrics, and improving processes.
• You are a hands-on, independent leader who can identify problems and drive solutions.
