- Develop demand and supply planning processes, including rolling forecasts and production planning.
- Translate customer demand and sales forecasts into actionable supply plans.
- Manage inventory levels, SKU health, safety stock, and inventory positioning across distribution locations.
- Oversee logistics and order management activities, including 3PLs, freight partners, carriers, and customs brokers.
- Manage international inbound logistics and coordinate shipments, documentation, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor end-to-end shipments and proactively identify and resolve supply chain risks.
- Establish and improve SOPs, processes, systems, and performance metrics.
- Develop dashboards and reporting around forecast accuracy, OTIF, inventory, logistics costs, and other key KPIs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team across planning, logistics, inventory, and order management.
- Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and international supply chain teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve service levels, reduce costs, optimize working capital, and increase operational efficiency.
- Support the implementation and ongoing management of supply chain technology, ERP/WMS, and planning tools.
- Lead supply chain security and compliance initiatives, including CTPAT.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, inventory, or distribution.
- Experience in food, beverage, ingredients, consumer products, or another import-intensive industry preferred.
- Experience managing international supply chains and long-lead-time environments.
- Strong background in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and logistics.
- Experience working with 3PLs, freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and other external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to build or improve supply chain processes in a growing or entrepreneurial organization.
- Previous team leadership and people-management experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/MRP, WMS, BI, or supply chain planning systems.
- Ability to work effectively across functions, cultures, and time zones.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a builder and operator who is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment where processes may still be evolving.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supply chain leader who wants to have a meaningful impact on a growing organization and build a more sophisticated, scalable supply chain operation.
