Job summary

Growscape is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end planning across a multi-site manufacturing network in Ohio. You will supervise outsourced scheduling, procurement, and inventory strategy while driving cost efficiency and high service levels.

You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Warehousing, and suppliers to support the company’s mission. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in procurement or planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, planning/scheduling, master data, or related supply chain functions.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and distribution networks.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with suppliers to ensure capacity alignment, on-time delivery, and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain supply planning data, audit new item setups, and correct data discrepancies.

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Manager leads supply chain operations across a multi-site, multi-country manufacturing network. This role oversees outsourced manufacturing scheduling, procurement, inventory strategy, product deployment, and supplier management while ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and high customer service levels. The manager partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Warehousing, and external suppliers to support the company’s mission: “From Grower to Gardener, Improving Our World.”

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Strategy & Optimization
  • Balance inventory-reduction goals with the requirement to maintain 30 days of inventory coverage ahead of customer order due dates.
  • Responsible for the development and management of inventory and safety stock policies including min/max analysis and forecast release.
  • Diagnose and solve barriers to achieving and maintaining key metrics such as 4-weeks-on-hand, on-time in full, and inventory valuation targets.
  • Run regular Supply Review Meetings with a focus on outcomes including proactive and clear understanding of the constrained supply plan and implication to demand and customers, proactive mitigation plans to minimize cost, preparation of 'what-if' scenarios, and capacity utilization and mitigation.
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve material shortages and continuously works across all planning functions to identify constraints and other supply risks that support operational decision making.
  • Partner with Sales to reduce slow‑moving inventory.
  • Quantify risks and liabilities related to business changes such as growth, discontinuation, or product transitions.
  • Review incoming purchased and manufactured products and collaborate with warehouse leadership to determine capacity and labor constraints.
  • Manage and optimize lead times, with particular focus on capacity-constrained items for Platinum-tier customers.
  • Oversee product deployment and exception management, adjusting plans to ensure customer fulfillment targets are met.
Supply & Production Planning
