We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead purchasing, inventory management, production scheduling, logistics, and supplier performance for a manufacturing facility. This role serves as the key connection between corporate supply chain functions and plant operations, ensuring uninterrupted material flow, inventory accuracy, on-time customer deliveries, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the facility's Master Production Schedule and sourced material requirements.
- Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to support operational needs.
- Ensure supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, and material availability.
- Oversee inventory audits, reporting, reconciliation, and inventory management processes.
- Analyze production schedules, inventory trends, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Purchasing teams to improve processes, reduce costs, and support production goals.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize inventory, improve product flow, and reduce waste.
- Review customer orders and recommend schedule adjustments to support changing business demands.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, delivery performance, and cost savings.
- Maximize utilization of the Plex inventory management system and related ERP tools.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of supply chain, materials management, purchasing, or production planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in inventory management, scheduling, customer service, and supplier relations.
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- CPIM or CPSM certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
- Understanding of U.S. Customs compliance and C-TPAT regulations is beneficial.
