Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager in Tampa to lead procurement, production control, inventory management, demand planning, and S&OP. The role focuses on aligning materials and capacity with production needs while improving on-time delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years in supply chain and production control, 5+ years in S&OP, and strong leadership across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain and production control.
  • 5+ years of experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
  • Experience leading procurement, production control, and/or inventory functions.
  • Experience in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Make-to-Order (MTO) manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, production planning, inventory management, and procurement.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement, production control, inventory management, demand planning, and S&OP.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules that align with demand and resources.
  • Lead the S&OP process with multiple departments to align forecasts and capacity.
  • Manage supplier relationships including pricing, lead times, and delivery performance.
  • Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs, scorecards and metrics.
  • Analyze inventory, production, and cost data to identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Develop inventory strategies to balance materials and excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to resolve production and supply chain issues.
  • Drive Lean, continuous improvement and standardized work across supply chain.
  • Lead, coach and develop supply chain and production control teams.
  • Develop long-term strategies for demand planning, capacity optimization, productivity, and cost reduction.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on performance, risks, and improvements.

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, production control, inventory management, demand planning, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). This role will play a key part in ensuring materials and capacity are aligned with production needs while improving on-time delivery, inventory performance, productivity, and cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead supply chain functions including procurement, production control, inventory management, demand planning, and S&OP.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules that align customer demand with available labor, equipment, materials, and outside services.
  • Lead the S&OP process and collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and other departments to align forecasts, capacity, inventory, and production plans.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including pricing, lead times, quality, delivery performance, and supplier development.
  • Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs, scorecards, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze inventory, production, and cost data to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, profitability, and delivery performance.
  • Develop inventory strategies to maintain adequate materials while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Partner with Manufacturing to resolve production and supply chain issues and ensure customer commitments are met.
  • Drive Lean, continuous improvement, and standardized work initiatives across supply chain and production control.
  • Lead, coach, and develop supply chain and production control teams while establishing clear goals and accountability.
  • Develop long-term strategies for demand planning, capacity optimization, productivity, and cost reduction.
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior leadership regarding supply chain performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with multiple priorities and production deadlines.
