LHH is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for a Direct Hire role with a manufacturing client in the Greater Indianapolis Area. You will lead end-to-end supply chain activities, including planning, scheduling, purchasing, sourcing and warehouse functions, partnering with executive leadership to drive performance and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supply chain leadership in manufacturing, with experience in production planning, SIOP, supplier relationships, and ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, business, engineering or operations.
• 5+ years of supply chain leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading production planning, scheduling and SIOP processes.
• Experience managing purchasing teams, supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
• Experience with global sourcing and international suppliers.
• Experience improving planning and scheduling processes in ERP environments.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

Job description

LHH is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in the Greater Indianapolis Area. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations and play a key role in supporting the organization's growth strategy and operational performance objectives. You will lead planning, scheduling, purchasing, sourcing, and warehouse functions while partnering closely with executive leadership to drive continuous improvement, supplier performance, and supply chain best practices across the business. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $120,000-150,000 per year plus bonus and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead all supply chain, planning, purchasing, scheduling, and inventory management activities.
• Develop and execute supply chain strategies supporting business growth objectives.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with key suppliers.
• Manage supplier performance through scorecards, reviews, and accountability programs.
• Support domestic and international sourcing initiatives.
• Drive production scheduling effectiveness to support operational goals.
• Oversee SIOP activities to align demand, capacity, and inventory plans.
• Improve planning, purchasing, and scheduling processes through best practices.
• Utilize ERP systems to enhance visibility and decision-making.
• Partner with operations leadership on strategic supply chain initiatives.
• Monitor inventory levels while balancing service and cost objectives.
• Coach and develop team members to improve performance and engagement.
• Evaluate supplier risks and implement contingency planning strategies.
• Support continuous improvement efforts focused on cost, quality, and delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or Operations is required
• Minimum of 5+ years of supply chain leadership experience within the manufacturing industry is required
• Must have experience leading production planning, scheduling, and SIOP processes
• Must have experience managing purchasing teams, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations
• Ideal candidates will have experience managing global sourcing initiatives and international suppliers
• Ideal candidates will have experience improving planning and scheduling processes
• Ideal candidates will have experience within an ERP-driven manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments
