Job summary

You will lead daily production activities, drive continuous improvement, mentor team members, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Qualifications

• 5+ years of production leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading hourly production associates.
• Ability to drive productivity, quality and safety improvements.
• Experience using ERP/production management systems.
• Bachelor degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Lead, coach, and develop production employees across shifts.
• Monitor workflow and adjust staffing to meet production requirements.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary discussions.
• Analyze production metrics and report results to leadership.
• Coordinate resources to support schedules and customer commitments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges.
• Maintain attendance, scheduling, and timekeeping records.
• Support equipment reliability through communication with maintenance.
• Drive workplace organization and housekeeping throughout the facility.
• Assist with process documentation and procedural updates.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability.

LHH is seeking a Production Supervisor for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in Columbus, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization known for its commitment to quality, operational excellence, and employee development. In this role, you will lead daily production activities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop and mentor team members, and lead goal achievement. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $68,000-$70,000 per year plus bonus and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree is preferred but not required
• Minimum of 5+ years of production leadership experience within a manufacturing facility is required
• Must have experience leading hourly production associates
• Must have the ability to drive productivity, quality, and safety improvements
• Must have experience utilizing ERP or production management systems
• Ideal candidates will have experience managing production schedules and staffing plans
• Ideal candidates will have experience with continuous improvement methodologies
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
