Job summary

Axion Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager for a direct-hire role in an established manufacturing environment. You will own purchasing, procurement, inventory and material planning while driving improvements to supply chain processes.

The role leads a small team, oversees international suppliers, and partners with production to ensure materials align with schedules. Onsite, permanent position with full benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing, procurement or supply chain experience within manufacturing.
• Experience managing suppliers and purchasing raw materials.
• Strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills.
• Understanding of inventory management, BOMs and material planning.
• International sourcing experience preferred.
• ERP implementation or NetSuite experience advantageous.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, procurement and supplier relationships.
• Oversee international suppliers, pricing, lead times and material availability.
• Lead a small team across purchasing, shipping/receiving and production planning.
• Manage inventory levels and raw material requirements.
• Work with production teams to ensure materials are available to meet manufacturing schedules.
• Improve purchasing processes, reporting and supply chain efficiency.
• Support ERP improvements and the transition to NetSuite.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and resolve supply chain issues.
