Job summary

Quest Global, Rockford, IL, is seeking a Supply Chain Management Lead to manage supplier performance and mitigate risks to ensure material availability for production and customer delivery. You will act as a liaison among suppliers, procurement, planning, manufacturing, and program leadership to address disruptions and drive accountability.

The role requires 5+ years in SCM or 9+ years in lieu of a degree, with experience in electronics/aerospace manufacturing, SAP, and analytical tools.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a related field with 5+ years of SCM experience or 9+ years in lieu of degree.
Preferred experience in electronics and/or aerospace manufacturing.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications to identify manufacturer part numbers.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Cultivate ongoing supplier relationships, drive accountability, and resolve outstanding items.
Balance production schedules to prevent shortages or overstock; monitor critical material shortages.
Collaborate with buyers, planners, manufacturing, engineering, and leadership to manage priorities.
Monitor disruptions, implement risk mitigation, and perform root cause analysis (5Why or similar).
Maintain delivery schedules and supplier performance metrics; use Line of Balance reports and dashboards.
