Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Supply Chain Intern in Greenfield, IN to support purchasing and materials planning. You will analyze parameters, standardize supplier onboarding, and document supplier-change processes, working closely with mentors to drive data-driven decisions that reduce costs and improve inventory turns.

This onsite role requires current eligibility to work in the United States and does not sponsor visas.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Previous internship, project experience, or relevant coursework in purchasing, materials planning, or supply chain operations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review data, quantify gaps, and make data-driven recommendations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting processes and cross-functional collaboration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data analysis
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deliverables and meet predefined milestones

Responsibilities

• Review purchasing parameters against playbook; quantify gaps; propose changes to improve forecast accuracy
• Create supplier onboarding playbook with guides, checklists, data capture, and flows
• Design supplier-change process to capture and maintain supplier information
• Deliver a gap analysis report and pilot onboarding for 1-2 suppliers
• Collaborate with GSM, materials planning, and inventory control to reduce supply disruptions
