Job summary

Allegion seeks a Summer Intern in Supply Chain to analyze data across the materials process from production scheduling to shipping. You will collaborate with operations leaders, planners, buyers, and the customer experience team to optimize inventory, service levels, and resource use.

You will translate the SIOP consensus into actionable monthly and weekly schedules, review ERP parameters, and participate in process improvement projects. Growth, learning, and exposure to leadership are offered.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/BA in business or supply chain required or in progress.
• Ability to make recommendations with limited time and information.
• Strong communication across internal materials departments.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Comfortable leading discussions around data analysis with MS Excel and other tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and lean principles is a plus.
• MS Office Suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) proficiency is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to provide scenarios balancing demand and supply while optimizing inventory.
• Translate the monthly SIOP consensus plan by product family to a detailed monthly/weekly scheduling plan.
• Collaborate with Project Manager on process improvement initiatives.
• Review data integrity of ERP planning item parameters.
• Review and update training on master production scheduling, purchasing, receiving, inventory control, and document procedures.
• Contribute to other projects as assigned.
