Job summary

Lilly is offering a 12-week summer internship in North Carolina focused on global supply chain processes. You will work with SAP to forecast demand, manage master scheduling, and support manufacturing and logistics activities across sites.

We seek students in Engineering or Supply Chain with strong problem solving, teamwork, and adaptability. The program emphasizes visibility, process integration, and collaboration on strategic supply chain projects within a pharma/healthcare context.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program related to Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• Anticipated graduation by August 2028.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 12-continuous-week temporary summer internship beginning in May or June 2027.
• Operate specific supply chain business processes at a global level.
• Provide visibility, integrate proposed changes, and resolve issues.
• Conduct supply chain processes within a manufacturing network.
• Confirm near-term demand forecast validity and develop product family forecasts using SAP.
• Pass dependent demands to impacted sites via SAP.
• Lead or participate in global or site product launch teams.
• Execute Master Scheduling, Shop Floor Control, Material Requirements Planning, and/or Purchasing Processes.
• Support safety, quality, service, and financial performance at manufacturing sites or clinical trial organizations.
• Serve as a link between Lilly Affiliates / Trading Companies and sites in a Customer Service role.
• Work on strategic supply chain projects using world-class tools and processes.
• Integrate material master data between manufacturing sites, business units, and sales and marketing affiliates.
• Lead or participate in logistics activities to support and improve distribution channels.
