BridgeNet Solutions, a member of the PSA Group, has provided sourcing, analytics, and technology solutions to help customers achieve their strategic objectives since 2001. BridgeNet's customer base spans Fortune 500 and Global 2000, and with annual logistics spend under management of over $5.4 billion, is well positioned to support its customers' complex global supply chains.

Role Summary

The Supply Chain Engineer is a key contributor to BridgeNet's Supply Chain Engineering function, leading and supporting operations-focused continuous improvement projects that deliver measurable cost savings and service level improvements for the 4PL program. This role owns small-to-medium CI projects end-to-end, from baseline analysis and solution design through implementation and benefit measurement. The Supply Chain Engineer collaborates with Control Tower teams, Client operational stakeholders, and the broader program team to execute structured improvement initiatives across freight optimization, inventory management, supplier performance, and logistics network efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead small-to-medium supply chain continuous improvement projects, taking full ownership from opportunity identification and scoping through implementation and value realization.
  • Develop project-specific analytical baselines using TMS, ERP, and visibility platform data to quantify improvement opportunities and size expected benefits.
  • Design and present solution recommendations for improvement opportunities including mode conversion, freight consolidation, carrier rationalization, and inventory optimization.
  • Build and maintain project business cases, implementation plans, KPI frameworks, and benefit realization trackers for all assigned initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Control Tower teams, logistics coordinators, and supplier contacts to implement approved changes and embed new operational processes.
  • Track and report project-level savings realization, measuring actuals against projected benefits and identifying corrective actions where gaps emerge.
  • Support the Principal Supply Chain Engineer on larger strategic initiatives, providing analytical support, data preparation, and implementation coordination.
  • Contribute to QBR and MBR reporting by providing CI project status updates, savings summaries, and forward pipeline commentary.
  • Participate in Supply Chain Engineering methodology development, contributing lessons learned and best practices to the team's shared knowledge base.
Education

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Research, or related quantitative field.

  • Experience developing and delivering structured continuous improvement projects with quantified business cases and measurable outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of transportation modes, freight procurement, carrier management, and inventory management principles in global supply chains.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and basic statistical analysis for supply chain applications.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present findings, recommendations, and results to operational and management stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent CI methodology certification.
