Job summary

McCay Tool + Engineering, Inc is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to support daily supply chain activities, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and coordinating the movement of materials throughout the production facility. This role ensures materials are accurately tracked and delivered to the correct production areas to maintain efficient operations and on-time customer deliveries.

This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and requires 1–3 years of experience, ERP/MRP

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and basic computer applications (Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records through tracking, cycle counting, reconciliation, and ERP/MRP data entry.
• Coordinate movement of parts, materials, and work-in-progress (WIP) throughout the shop to support production schedules and workflow requirements.
• Prepare, review, and process required shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, labels, and system transactions.
• Schedule outbound shipments, collaborate with carriers, and ensure products are packaged and staged according to company and regulatory standards.
• Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy, damage, and compliance with purchase orders; complete receiving documentation and system updates.
• Maintain organized and compliant storage areas for raw materials, finished goods, and WIP inventory.
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies, shortages, and material flow issues to minimize production downtime.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics personnel to ensure seamless communication and alignment across supply chain activities.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, material handling guidelines, and workplace policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall supply chain and operations functions.

Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Department: Supply Chain / Operations Shift Monday - Friday 9:30am-6pm

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary: The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily supply chain activities, including inventory control, shipping and receiving processes, and coordinating the movement of materials throughout the production facility. This position ensures materials are accurately tracked, properly handled, and delivered to the correct production areas to maintain efficient manufacturing operations and on-time customer deliveries.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records through systematic tracking, cycle counting, reconciliation, and ERP/MRP data entry.
• Coordinate the movement of parts, materials, and work-in-progress (WIP) throughout the shop to support production schedules and workflow requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move materials up to required weight limits.
• Regular exposure to a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Work Environment

• Production and warehouse setting with frequent interaction across operations, logistics, and purchasing teams.
