Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Communicate regularly with vendors to verify order status, shipment timelines, and address any delays.
  • Partner with internal departments such as procurement, planning, and warehouse teams to support inventory movement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within ERP systems, including shipment updates and delivery schedules.
  • Proactively identify and escalate urgent or delayed orders to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and share insights with the purchasing team.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to shipments, invoices, and order fulfillment.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and take initiative to implement solutions.
  • Manage daily administrative tasks related to purchase order tracking and documentation.
  • Ensure purchase orders are entered accurately and efficiently in a high-volume environment.
  • Maintain organized records of completed and historical purchase orders.
  • Build and sustain professional relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate creation of work orders based on internal requests.
  • Utilize multiple systems and tools to manage data and workflows effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to meet business needs.
