Position Overview

VCU Health Supply Chain department is seeking a highly motivated, eager learning professional to join our team! Do you have experience in Supply Chain Analytics? Great! Do you have experience with WorkDay managing supply chain data and analytics? Even better! With the VCU Health Supply Chain department, you will work with a skilled team to build data assets and visualizations to improve our overall efficiencies.

The Database Reporting Analyst job family is responsible for reporting operational, financial, clinical, and performance improvement data.

Minimum Requirements

• Six to eight years of related experience
• Extensive technical expertise in the principle discipline and broad knowledge in related disciplines
• High-level knowledge of the system development life cycle, database management languages, relational databases, change management, and testing processes
• Understanding of client-server architecture
• Expertise in business processes, workflow, and data models across major operational, financial, or clinical areas
• Knowledge of reporting, scheduling, and data movement applications
• Ability to modify existing functionality and troubleshoot on all reporting platforms
• Successful completion of multiple complex technical projects
• Strong written communication skills

Education and Training

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Basic knowledge of database monitoring
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL tuning tools and processes
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL and all major reporting platforms used by Enterprise Analytics

Additional Information

Utilizes considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches, working with a long-term perspective to achieve desired outcomes.

Physical requirements include lifting less than 20 lbs, prolonged sitting and standing, and activities requiring strong recall, reasoning, problem-solving, and effective communication. The environment is fast-paced, requiring adaptability and handling multiple priorities.
