Job summary

Cincinnati Children's is hiring for a Base Materials Management role on the Canal Road site for the Offsite Warehouse and clinical storerooms. You will handle receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, and distribution, with a 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM schedule and full-time status.

The position emphasizes accurate, timely supply distribution to support patient care. Starting pay range is $16.75–$20.27 per hour, with additional pay differentials possible for shift, on-call, or weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 11p-7:30am.
• Receive inbound deliveries and unload trucks and pallets.
• Stage inbound orders for the Offsite Warehouse and storerooms.
• Coordinate outbound shipments and courier deliveries.
• Ensure deliveries and shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Put away stock and replenish inventory locations in the Offsite Warehouse.
• Rotate stock and check expiration dates; perform cycle counts.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage areas.
• Pick and prepare supply orders for clinical storerooms and outbound shipment.
• Support urgent and special supply requests; ensure on-time completion.
• Collaborate with team to ensure supplies are available when needed.
• Communicate inventory, order, and supply concerns as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receiving & Shipping
  • Unload trucks and pallets and receive inbound deliveries
  • Stage inbound orders for the Cincinnati Children's Offsite Warehouse and clinical storerooms
  • Coordinate outbound freight shipments and courier deliveries
  • Ensure deliveries and shipments are processed accurately and efficiently
• Materials Handling & Inventory
  • Put away inbound stock and replenish inventory locations in the Offsite Warehouse
  • Rotate stock and check product expiration dates
  • Perform inventory cycle counts
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage areas
  • Assist with product movement and other materials-handling activities
• Order Fulfillment & Distribution
  • Pick and prepare supply orders for hospital clinical storerooms
  • Prepare orders for outbound shipment
  • Support urgent and special supply requests
  • Ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
• Customer Service & Teamwork
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure supplies are available where and when they are needed
  • Support internal department customers to help orders move through the process efficiently
  • Communicate inventory, order, and supply concerns as needed
  • Contribute to excellent patient care through accurate and timely supply distribution
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and train team members as assigned
