Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking an experienced team member for the Liberty Materials Management department. The role supports order fulfillment, storeroom operations, and inventory management in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The position operates on an evening shift (3pm-11:30pm) with every other weekend and holiday rotation, 40 hours per week, and a 1.0 FTE. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and institutional policies apply to safety and infection

• Pick and prepare supply orders for hospital departments.
• Deliver supplies to designated locations throughout the facility.
• Ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Support urgent and special supply requests.
• Maintain clean and organized storage areas.
• Organize inventory to maximize storage efficiency and accessibility.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment needs.

Job Responsibilities

Schedule: 3pm-11:30pm; every other weekend and holiday rotation

Order Fulfillment & Distribution

• Pick and prepare supply orders for hospital departments
• Deliver supplies to designated locations throughout the facility
• Ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently
• Support urgent and special supply requests
• Maintain clean and organized storage areas

Storeroom Operations

• Organize inventory to maximize storage efficiency and accessibility
• Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment needs
• Maintain inventory transactions within departmental systems
• Assist with product movement and material handling activities
• Follow established safety and infection prevention guidelines

Customer Service & Teamwork

• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to meet supply needs
• Provide timely support to internal customers
• Communicate inventory issues and supply concerns to leadership
• Support department initiatives and process improvement efforts
• Assist with additional supply chain functions as assigned
• As a subject matter expert, you will be expected to train others
