Job summary

Avery Dennison’s North America Sales Early Career Program (SECP) is a structured 24–30 monthAssociate track designed to develop future sales leaders. The program begins in Mentor, OH, with corporate exposure before rotations across the East, West, or Midwest regions.

As an SECP Associate you will build a strong sales foundation, gain business insights, and develop skills in pricing, negotiation, and strategic planning while collaborating cross-functionally to understand the broader business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or related field required with Sales minor or certificate a plus.
• Previous sales internship or co-op experience required or relevant work experience
• Experience via student organizations (e.g., Alpha Kappa Psi, ALPFA, Multicultural Business Association)
• Volunteerism or similar activities
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Work sponsorship is not available now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Gain a strong sales foundation: craft key skills and proficiencies needed to thrive in sales and develop technical product knowledge
• Work cross-functionally to gain business insights and exposure to various aspects of the business
• Develop key skills in pricing, relationship management, negotiation, time management, and strategic business planning
• Present products/services and communicate the value proposition to potential customers
• Close sales and negotiate deals and finalise sales and transactions
