Supply Chain Analyst (Network Design Team)
Shift: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
Position Summary
This position coordinates all processes and functions of a department and provides visibility to management by tracking, process oversight, auditing, researching, and troubleshooting operational issues or functions.
Major Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain
- Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards. Follow daily parts control functions, including track and trace, production schedule analysis, and exception management. Provide parts follow-up ensuring optimal material flow.
- Analytics
- Assist in developing and presenting customer analytics, key trends, and solution proposals during internal and external meetings. Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Customer Relations
- Work with customers to resolve stock shortages, meet deadlines, and answer questions. Seek opportunities to improve customer inventory and material flow processes. Communicate critical issues to management and customers promptly and accurately.
- Process Improvement
- Examine current processes and implement or recommend improvements to eliminate waste. Follow processes set by Engineering and assist with process and transportation design changes.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve part/shipment issues. Track shipments to ensure deadlines are met. Work with carriers to resolve transit or at-customer issues.
- Other Projects
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1 year of inventory, auditing, or transportation experience preferred.
- Fundamental understanding of transportation, supply chain, and logistics.
- Ability to learn and operate various inventory and transportation management systems.
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
- Data analysis skills required.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Experience analyzing large data sets is preferred.
- Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Outlook, required.
- Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
- Willingness to travel as needed, work flexible hours, and complete necessary employment screening processes.
Physical Requirements:
- Must meet physical and mental demands of the job, with accommodations available as needed.
- Ability to read, communicate verbally and in writing, analyze information, and follow instructions.
- May need to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
