Supply Chain Analyst (Network Design Team)

Shift: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
Position Summary
This position coordinates all processes and functions of a department and provides visibility to management by tracking, process oversight, auditing, researching, and troubleshooting operational issues or functions.
Major Responsibilities:
Supply Chain
- Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards. Follow daily parts control functions, including track and trace, production schedule analysis, and exception management. Provide parts follow-up ensuring optimal material flow.
Analytics
- Assist in developing and presenting customer analytics, key trends, and solution proposals during meetings. Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
Customer Relations
- Work with customers to resolve stock shortages, meet deadlines, and answer questions. Proactively seek opportunities to improve inventory and material flow processes. Communicate critical issues promptly to management and customers.
Process Improvement
- Review current processes and recommend or implement improvements to eliminate waste. Follow established processes and assist with design changes in transportation and processes.
Supplier/Carrier Relations
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve shipment issues. Track shipments to ensure deadlines are met. Work with carriers to resolve transit or facility issues.
Other Projects
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1 year of inventory, auditing, or transportation experience preferred.
- Understanding of transportation, supply chain, and logistics.
- Ability to operate various inventory and transportation management systems.
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Experience analyzing large data sets preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook required.
- Regular attendance is essential.
- Willingness to travel, work hours as needed, and pass background and drug screening.

- Ability to read, communicate, analyze information, and follow instructions.
- May need to stand, walk, sit, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
