Altec is seeking an entry-level Supply Chain Analyst to join our Procurement team in St. Joseph, Missouri. The role focuses on quoting, purchasing, and expediting materials, while maintaining vendor relationships to optimize quality, cost, and delivery.

Responsibilities include supplier scorecards, procurement documentation, lean initiatives, invoice payments, and negotiating terms. A degree in Business/SCM/Operations is preferred, with Oracle experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
• Majors in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management preferred.
• Prior industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts preferred.
• Prior Oracle experience preferred.
• Prior interaction with Altec team at a recruitment event highly preferred.

• Maintain supplier performance scorecards evaluating quality, delivery and cost.
• Maintain supplier documents and assist in evaluating potential suppliers.
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen activities.
• Authorize payment of invoices.
• Negotiate prices, discount terms and transportation for merchandise.
• Purchase and expedite all components and services related to manufacture of finished product, maintenance, repair and operations.

Supply Chain Analyst--Entry Level/New Grad opportunities will be responsible for quoting, purchasing, and expediting materials and supplies from vendors.
