Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business is required.
• Entering 3rd or 4th year is highly preferred.
• Ability to work year-round is highly preferred.
• Prior interaction with Altec at a recruitment event is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supplier performance scorecards evaluating quality, delivery and cost.
• Maintain supplier certification documents and assist in evaluating potential suppliers.
• Maintain supplier records for governmental programs related to small business and diversity spend.
• Involvement with engineering and production associates on cost savings activities.
• Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen activities.
• Assist with Accounts payable projects.
• Maintain accurate material pricing.
• Procure components for assembly lines and expedite parts accordingly.
• Manage inventory levels and complete projects to ensure components are on hand; initiate cost savings opportunities with suppliers.
• Any other special projects as needed.
