Altec Industries, Inc. in St. Joseph, Missouri seeks an Entry Level/New Grad Supply Chain Analyst to quote, purchase and expedite materials for manufacturing. You will build and maintain vendor relationships focusing on quality, cost and delivery while supporting ongoing procurement activities.

The role emphasizes exposure to lean manufacturing, supplier scorecards, and cost-saving opportunities as part of a growing, multi-national equipment manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is required.
• Preferred majors: Business, Supply Chain Management or Operations Management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supplier performance scorecards for quality, delivery and cost.
• Maintain supplier documents and assist in evaluating potential suppliers.
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen activities.
• Authorize payment of invoices.
• Negotiate prices, discount terms and transportation for merchandise.
• Purchase and expedite components and services for finished product and operations.

Supply Chain Analyst--Entry Level/New Grad opportunities will be responsible for quoting, purchasing, and expediting materials and supplies from vendors. Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required
  • A degree in one of the following majors preferred:
    • Business
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Operations Management
• Prior industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts preferred.
• Prior Oracle experience preferred.
• Prior interaction with Altec team at a recruitment event highly preferred.

Potential Responsibilities
