Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, statistics, information systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a track record of solving problems using data.
• Working knowledge of Excel and SQL.

Reports to/Team Dynamic: Individual contributor partnering with supply chain, field, and IT teams as well as business leaders

Pay Range: $60K-75K/Year

Our client, a large industrial distribution company, is growing its supply chain analytics team in Birmingham and is looking for data-minded problem solvers to join it. Depending on your background and interests, you could focus on inventory strategy, order and vendor visibility, or business intelligence and data modeling. Across the team, analysts turn data into clear insights, build dashboards and reports that leaders rely on, and partner with colleagues across the business to improve how inventory and orders move. What You’ll Do:

• Analyze supply chain, inventory, and order data to uncover trends and recommend practical improvements

What You Bring:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, statistics, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a track record of solving problems using data
• Working knowledge of Excel and SQL
• Experience with a BI or data visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
• Clear written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams

Preferred:

• Experience in supply chain, inventory, order management, or distribution environments
• Familiarity with Python or R, advanced SQL, or a BI tool certification
