Job summary

TEKsystems in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to provide day-to-day operational support across procurement, inventory, warehousing, and asset lifecycle activities. You will track orders, maintain records, coordinate with vendors, and prepare reports to ensure timely delivery of supply chain operations.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience handling large datasets, and solid organizational and communication abilities.

• Support inventory reconciliation and help optimize the use of available assets before new purchases.
• Prepare reports, metrics, forecasts, and presentations using procurement, inventory, service, and financial data.
• Support supplier issue tracking, escalations, and process improvements.

Job description

The Supply Chain Administrator will provide day-to-day operational support across procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and technology asset lifecycle activities. This person will help track orders and inventory, maintain accurate records, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, prepare reporting, and follow up on issues to ensure timely delivery and smooth supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Track purchase orders, shipments, inventory, deliveries, and asset lifecycle activities.
• Maintain accurate records, trackers, status updates, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with technology teams, suppliers, manufacturers, and warehouse partners.
• Identify and follow up on delays, discrepancies, missing information, and inventory issues.
• Support inventory reconciliation and help optimize the use of available assets before new purchases.
• Prepare reports, metrics, forecasts, and presentations using procurement, inventory, service, and financial data.
• Support supplier issue tracking, escalations, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in administration, operations, supply chain, procurement, inventory, logistics, technology services, or a related area.
• Experience tracking orders or inventory and coordinating with internal teams or external vendors.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Comfortable working with large datasets to create reports and identify trends or discrepancies.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Experience with technology infrastructure, asset management, CMDB, procurement, or regulated industries is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
