Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Resident Supply Quality Engineer to define, develop, and execute supplier quality processes for composite and mechanical sub-assemblies. You will act as the liaison between Anduril and suppliers, partnering with design and manufacturing to meet quality requirements from the start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or similar
• Experience with producing composite assemblies and manufacturing of mechanical sub-assemblies
• Experience in scaling supplier capabilities and quality from prototype to high-rate production
• Working knowledge of AS9100/ ISO 9001-based Quality Management System requirements; Lead AuditorCert. a plus
• Experience performing First Article Inspection to AS9102 and ensuring suppliers have control plans
• Experience with SOW, IP, and government regulations such as ITAR
• Strong ownership mindset to drive projects from start to finish
• Analytical skills for data mining, data quality, metrics, and statistical tools
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance
• Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time to suppliers and locations

Responsibilities

• Partner with design teams to support manufacturability and provide data for composite assemblies
• Manage and execute source inspections at receipt, in-process, and final
• Support internal design process with composites, additive manufacturing, and inspection expertise
• Oversee supplier source inspections and assess adherence to specs and processes
• Drive supplier quality readiness through design reviews, process development, and qualification
• Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and program management to ensure reliable supply
