Job summary

TT Electronics is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to assure quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of externally sourced materials used in PCBAs for aerospace and other high-reliability sectors. You will collaborate with suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to drive performance and continuous improvement.

The role focuses on supplier qualification, audits (AS9100/ISO 9001), corrective actions, and risk management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
Minimum of three (3) years in Supplier Quality or related quality discipline; five (5) years preferred.
Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (aerospace, defense, medical devices, or high-reliability industries).
Experience with PCBA manufacturing preferred.
Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.

Responsibilities

Manage supplier quality performance through scorecards, KPIs, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, and approval activities.
Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality systems, manufacturing processes, and risk profiles.
Develop and maintain Approved Supplier Lists (ASL) and lead supplier performance reviews.
Support incoming inspection requirements and analyze supplier-related nonconformances.
Drive supplier risk assessment and contingency planning.
