Job summary

Panasonic Energy is hiring a PTG Intern for a 12-week summer program at the Gigafactory in De Soto, Kansas. The role offers hands-on experience in manufacturing systems, data flows, and digital transformation projects with cross-functional teams.

Applicants must be a currently enrolled full-time student, have at least two years of college completed, and maintain a minimum 3.2 GPA. The internship is onsite and full-time, with PPE requirements and pre-employment conditions.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least two years of a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry or similar disciplines.
• Must be currently enrolled as a fulltime student at an accredited four-year college or university.
• GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Basic knowledge of project management processes and tools.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to read, write and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work on digital transformation projects and manufacturing digital solutions.
• Update and maintain digital system documentation to support standardization.
• Analyze and organize data to show trends and prioritize focus areas.
• Create enterprise data models to standardize naming conventions and data relationships.
• Perform larger analyses to understand business impact of Smart Factory initiatives.
• Collaborate with other areas and interns to share processes and ideas.
• Other duties as assigned.
