Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Gilbert, AZ to monitor supplier performance and drive quality improvements across North American plants. You will lead APQP/PPAP for new parts, coordinate containment, and drive corrective actions with suppliers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a technical field, 3 years in SQE/SQA, and experience with AIAG tools, ISO 9001, and GD&T.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or technical discipline.
• 3 years' experience in supplier quality engineering (SQE) or SQA.
• Structured problem-solving to resolve manufacturing and systemic issues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier performance and track KPIs.
• Execute APQP and PPAP for new/modified parts.
• Drive supplier quality issues to closure and manage containment/return processes.
• Coordinate with North American plants and Corporate Supplier Quality for improvements.
• Communicate root cause and preventive actions to suppliers.
