Job summary

Johnson Controls in the United States is seeking an experienced Quality Lead to drive new product quality, change management, and special projects across manufacturing sites. You will ensure processes meet APQP, PPAP, and ISO 9001 standards while guiding cross-functional teams.

You will manage multiple projects from ideation to completion, use JIRA for tracking, lead root-cause analysis (8D, Six Sigma), and continuously improve product quality and cost of poor quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing) or similar technical discipline.
• 7-10+ years of ISO/TS manufacturing quality experience; 5+ years in project leadership.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and APQP/PPAP techniques.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of multiple projects from ideation to completion using PM methodologies.
• Define and implement APQP, PPAP, and change-management in ISO 9001 framework.
• Lead project quality teams across manufacturing locations to reduce CoPQ.
• Use JIRA to track progress, quality tasks, and milestones.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Facilitate post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Communicate project successes and lessons learned across functions.
