ABB in the United States, based in Mebane, NC, seeks an ELSP Supplier Quality & Development Engineer to lead supplier assessments and develop corrective and preventive actions. Onsite role focusing on supplier qualification, development, and KPI management across on-site and off-site activities.

You will coordinate PPAP activities, address quality and delivery issues with suppliers, and partner with buyers to drive continuous improvement in the supplier base through robust CPI actions and

Competenze

• Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline and at least 2 years in supplier quality processes.
• Proficiency with measurement tools (meters, calipers, gauges, etc.).
• Understanding of quality procedures and concepts.
• Lean manufacturing experience and HSE participation.
• Flexibility to rotate to different production areas as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Mansioni

• Drive approval processes for supplier parts, materials and subcontractor services, including PPAP.
• Lead quick and effective responses to quality or delivery issues with suppliers.
• Collaborate with buyers to engage suppliers and prepare claims when needed.
• Ensure supplier development processes drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.
• Track and monitor supplier KPI scorecards and assign corrective actions.
