Job summary

Facil North America is seeking a Supplier Planner at our Independence, OH headquarters. You will act as liaison between customers and suppliers, manage supplier relations, and ensure timely delivery of materials. The role reports to the Supplier Planner Coordinator within the FSP Operations and Purchasing division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2–3 years in material planning or equivalent role; automotive experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability to read and interpret complex data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned suppliers and lead recurring meetings.
• Place and schedule orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor chase list and take corrective actions to prevent delays.
• Expedite materials, address shortages, and log all activities for tracking.
• Check ASNs and address errors to prevent warehouse issues.
• Review supplier call-offs after MRP to adjust over/under ordering.
• Coordinate with customer planner and internal departments for smooth communication.
• Support Product Change Management and supplier packaging/labeling improvements.
