Job summary

Doosan Bobcat NA US invites students to join a Spring 2027 supplier development engineer role in West Fargo, ND. The program offers Co-op or Internship tracks, with full immersion into corporate and production environments and real-world projects.

You will gain hands-on experience applying Lean Six Sigma concepts while supporting supplier development and cost-reduction efforts across multiple functions.

Qualifications

• Freshman to Senior standing in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Be able to commit full-time for 8 months (Co-op) or 4 months (Internship).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate strategic suppliers and drive improvements using Lean Six Sigma.
• Prioritize tasks and allocate internal/external resources for timely project execution.
• Identify and monitor supply chain KPIs aligned with Doosan Bobcat needs.
• Influence new product designs and supply chain processes to meet targets.
• Mitigate risks from supplier changes to products or processes.
• Identify world-class supply chain practices to use within our organization and supply base.
• Perform supply base quality system, process, capability and capacity audits.
