Job summary

Doosan Bobcat North America, Inc is offering an 8-month co-op and semester-long internship program at locations including West Fargo, ND and Bismarck. You will work across multiple functions, gaining hands-on experience while applying your coursework in real-world projects.

Co-ops are full-time while internships are part-time; both provide exposure to corporate and production environments and a pathway to full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Chemical, Material, Metallurgical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to sustainability efforts such as metals recycling and responsible material use.
• Assist with process development, supplier engagement, project management, and AI Integration.
• Support existing projects involving material analysis, battery and engine compliance, and sustainability.
• Analyze industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to product compliance and sustainability.
• Research and monitor current and emerging national and international laws, regulations, and certification requirements to support planning, product launches, and compliance across key markets.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data related to chemical usage, emissions, industry standards, and extended producer responsibility.
• Maintain accurate records and databases to support compliance and sustainability efforts.
• Generate reports and summaries to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of product sustainability strategies and initiatives.
• Conduct research and analysis on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to product sustainability.
• Assist in the development of life cycle assessment, product carbon footprint, and environmental product documents.
